Bill Mackenzie, Managing Director
Bill brings executive management experience in finance, operations and marketing with particular expertise in managing mature and emerging companies operating in rapidly changing environments. Bill has been the CEO of a national retail rental company while over seeing and negotiating the sale of its key operating divisions; advised a nationally dominant sub contractor in a construction related firm; a national jewelry retail company; a CRO in a publicly held telecom rollup; CRO for a telecom “over builder” with invested capital exceeding $400 million, overseeing a successful a Chapter 11 “363 sale” of the assets of the company. He also served as interim CFO of a DSL/Broadband company with capitalization exceeding $125 million. In addition, he has managed, on a day-to-day basis, a pharmaceutical distribution company and its subsequent sale; directed the financial, operational and marketing restructuring of a major metropolitan residential homebuilder; a CEO of an emerging healthcare software company leading to the growth and eventual sale of the company; and has successfully run numerous other companies in manufacturing, semiconductor, distribution, retail and service sectors.
Bill led the problem lending divisions of a major regional commercial bank, where he served as a voting member on the two senior loan committees. Additionally, Bill has extensive experience in consumer products, having served as a marketing executive with Bristol Myers, Sara Lee Corporation and the Quaker Oats Company.
Bill Mackenzie earned his MBA at the Wharton School and a BS in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
